![]() ![]() One well written script will work in any network, easily deployed and only targets PCs likely to have the issue. ![]() Tomorrow we will start work on testing/writing a number of the possible solution, most of the networks that have this problem have the Vista/2008 GPO features and we also like the last solution and will script to test that as well. ![]() We will work to get or make a solution that resolves the problem and prevents it at their request, it's what they pay us for. But the problem persists and continues to come up. These users should be able to, or be told and trained not to write/delete to or from drives labelled 'Readyboost' or housing ready boost files. I always make the point to management of the clients who have this problem that for the percentage of PC in their network using and getting genuine advantage from it, are usually power users with 4Gb or more RAM and doing lots of task swapping and/or using multiple displays. ![]()
